Sigma S7 GET & S7 PUT AOI's Ethernet Software
Download and trial the S7 GET & S7 PUR AOI's to communicate with Siemens S7 PLC's. A 24 hour demonstration mode is supported by the Sigma AOI's. The demonstration mode can be restarted when it expires by restarting the Rockwell CPU.

This is a software solution which utilises the existing Ethernet capabilities of the Siemens PLC system you wish to connect. No hardware gateway is required.

Siemens S7-1200 CPU EtherNet/IPTM IO Scanner Software
Generic Ethernet Module
The EtherNet/IP IO Scanner Function Blocks communicate with EtherNet/IP Adapters supporting Implicit Message Class 1. A demonstration mode is not supported. This is a software solution which utilises the existing Ethernet capabilities of the S7-1200 PLC system to allow connection of multiple EtherNet/IP Adapters when a Layer 3 Router is used in conjunction with the Sigma Function Blocks. This feature enables the IO of all connected IO Adapters to be checked every scan cycle of the PLC*.
The Function Blocks allow the S7-1200 PLC to act as an EtherNet/IP IO Scanner.

* The Produce/Consume model is employed by the Sigma Function Block and therefore the IO updates will be based on the RPI of the Adapter and this RPI must be not less than the PLC CPU longest cycle time. A Layer 3 Router provides Source Port Forwarding of the I/O Adapters UDP packet destination port from 2222 to the configured S7-1200 I/O Adapter port number.

Purchase the S7-1200 IO Scanner Licence from the ecommerce section of this site
Once the licence is purchased, email the Tax Invoice and the nominated CPU serial number and your order will be processed. An email with a dedicated SharePoint link will be provided with the S7-1200 IO Scanner Library bound to your nominated CPU serial number.
